Han River Bridge
Han River Bridge is one of the bridges spanning the Han River in Da Nang, Central Vietnam. The bridge was started on September 2, 1998 and inaugurated on March 29, 2000.
The bridge is the line connecting the two main roads of Da Nang, Le Duan Street on the West Bank and Pham Van Dong Street on the East Coast. The bridge has a length of 487.7 meters. 12.9 meters wide. Including 11 beats, each span is 33 meters long. Concrete structure, post-tensioned reinforcement and 2 cable stayed spans have a total length of 122.7 meters. Structure of girder and main bridge tower is made of steel, deck surface is made of reinforced concrete.
First in Vietnam
Han River Bridge is the first swing bridge designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers, and is the only rotating bridge in Vietnam today.
