Han River Bridge
The Han River Bridge is one of the bridges across the Han River in Da Nang, Central Vietnam. The bridge was started on September 2, 9 and inaugurated on March 1998, 29.
The bridge is a road connecting two main roads of Da Nang, Le Duan Street on the West Bank and Pham Van Dong Street on the East Bank. The bridge has a length of 487.7 meters. 12.9 meters wide. It consists of 11 spans, each 33 meters long. The concrete structure, prestressed reinforcement and 2 cable-stayed spans have a total length of 122.7 meters. The girder structure and the main bridge tower are steel, the bridge deck is made of reinforced concrete.
First in Vietnam
Han River Bridge is the first rotary bridge designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers and is the only rotary bridge in Vietnam today.
